Funding opportunities to support Westminster organisations to help tackle the climate crisis are listed here
City Bridge Foundation: A fund for local projects within Greater London that take an equitable approach to mitigating and/or adapting to climate change.
Mayor of London’s Energy Efficiency Fund (MEEF) supports projects that deliver new low carbon technology or upgrade existing infrastructure to help make London net zero by 2030
Kensington and Chelsea Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL)
Residents, local community groups, residents’ associations, registered charities, infrastructure providers and charitable companies may apply for NCIL funding. Kensington and Chelsea’s current community priorities include
- Air Quality
- Parks and Open Spaces
- Streetscape
WCC Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy
WCC also awards funding to individuals and organisations to help deliver local infrastructure in neighbourhoods across the city. WCC CIL funding priority areas include:
- Green transition: projects that enhance and accelerate climate action to achieve net zero ambitions
Greener Futures
Greener Futures supports projects in Westminster that empower community led climate action and improves people’s lives by:
- Supporting training and jobs in the green economy
- Enabling communities to take climate action
- Improving disadvantaged young people’s access nature
