We’ve developed a comprehensive Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan for the district, co-designed with residents, businesses and stakeholders to ensure Knightsbridge leads by example in creating an environmentally responsible and resilient future.

The Strategy provides seven priority themes alongside 60 SMART, measurable actions to make a tangible impact on businesses sustainability goals.

The strategy covers:

• Biodiversity & nature recovery – street trees, green corridors, nature-based cooling
• Water conservation – leak detection and efficiency measures across buildings
• Circular economy – a district-wide waste reduction and recycling programme
• Greenhouse gas emissions & air quality – a retrofit accelerator for commercial buildings
• Transport – coordinated deliveries, servicing, and low-emission last mile
• Health & wellbeing – improved walking, cycling and wheeling infrastructure
• Social value & inclusion – internships and placements linking local talent with businesses
