INTRODUCING PLATED: A new Summer Dining Festival for the King’s Road & Knightsbridge

From 1st – 31st August, the King’s Road Partnership and Knightsbridge Partnership are bringing a new food festival to the district in response to member feedback indicating this month can be a challenging trading month.

Our new food festival called Plated will bring together the very best of the King’s Road and Knightsbridge’s vibrant and ever-growing food and drink scene in a month-long celebration designed to drive footfall, showcase creativity, and boost revenue across the area.

We’re inviting restaurants, pubs, cafés, bars, and food & beverage operators within hotels and department stores to take part in a curated festival that highlights what makes this neighbourhood one of London’s most exciting dining destinations.

The ambition is for Plated to become an annual fixture which can grow in future years, becoming a key fixture in London’s foodie calendar.

What is Plated?

Plated is a flexible, venue-led dining festival that allows participating businesses to design their own unique offering. Rather than a one-size-fits-all format, each venue can create an offer and/or experience that reflects its brand and client such as:

  • Signature Dishes – Showcase a standout plate created especially for the festival
  • Special Menus – Prix fixe or themed menus designed to attract new customers
  • Exclusive Offers – Time-limited promotions to drive weekday or off-peak traffic
  • Creative Drinks – Cocktail or beverage collaborations tied to the Plated identity
  • Dining Experiences – Chef’s tables, tastings, masterclasses, or one-off events

Members retain full control over pricing, format, and availability.

In its first year, Plated will serve to draw new and existing audience to dine across our districts, with a key focus on:

  • Tourists staying in London during August
  • Foodies
  • Home Counties
  • Londoners

Why Participate?

  • Flexible Commitment – Participate in a way that suits your business model and capacity
  • Increased Footfall – A coordinated campaign will seek to bring more diners into the area
  • New Customer Acquisition – Reach audiences actively looking to discover new venues
  • Marketing Support – Inclusion in a professionally managed campaign across digital, social, PR, and media partnerships
  • Brand Exposure – Position your venue as part of a high-profile neighbourhood-wide initiative

Festival Promotion

Plated will be supported by a targeted marketing campaign, currently being developed, including:

  • Dedicated website (launch date TBC) www.plated.london
  • Social media and influencer partnerships
  • National, regional, London and local local promotional activity, including press coverage and advertising
  • Digital guides and maps highlighting participating venues
  • On-the-ground visibility across King’s Road and Knightsbridge
