This week, the Knightsbridge Partnership marked Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week with a programme of partnership working alongside the Metropolitan Police and Safer Business Network.
As part of the week, our Street Team and Business Crime Reduction Officer Mark Attridge were joined by the Metropolitan Police on a joint patrol across the district. The patrol visited businesses to follow up on previously reported crimes and gather intelligence to support future prosecutions, helping to ensure that incidents affecting our members are pursued and that offenders are brought to justice.
Why partnership working matters
Tackling anti-social behaviour and business crime requires a coordinated effort. By working closely with the Metropolitan Police and Safer Business Network, we can share intelligence, strengthen the response to incidents affecting our members, and build the evidence base needed to support prosecutions.
Joint patrols like this are just one part of the Knightsbridge Partnership’s ongoing work to keep the district safe and secure. Our Street Team is on the ground every day, providing a visible, reassuring presence and acting as a first point of contact for businesses, while our Business Crime Reduction Officer works directly with members to report, track and respond to crime affecting their premises.
Report it, so we can act on it
Every report matters. Intelligence gathered from businesses plays a vital role in identifying patterns, targeting resources and supporting prosecutions. If your business has been affected by crime or anti-social behaviour, please report it to the team so we can follow up on your behalf.
The easiest way to report is via our ShopSafe Alert platform, which you can sign up to by emailing Alasdair Hawthorne, Business Engagement Executive, at alasdair@knightsbridgepartnership.com
